Great job Kylie!! She did her back tuck at the end of her routine without spot or anyone even standing on the floor!!! She's all the way back!

Accomplishments today

So today Hannah did her 1st giants on the double bars! Jordan D. pushed hard to do her back walkover on an unpadded beam and did some very good ones. Taylor H. was struggling a bit on her back handspring over the last little bit and hit a bunch of them today. It was a pretty cool day.

Snowflake Invitational

The Snowflake Invitational was on Sunday Dec 14. With the crazy power outages and things of that nature it was a small fun meet. Lauren Massie Level 8 placed 2nd on bars with an 8.6 and 3rd on floor with an 9.05. Lauren made a mistake on bars, she hit her heel on her 2nd giant, but worked hard to power through that mistake and finish her bar routine which was great to see! Taylor Hicks placed 3rd on vault with a 9.15 (which was one of the best vaults I've seen her do) and 5th on bars with an 8.6. Atlantic this weekend!

Giants!!

Today Beck did her first giant on the double bars and Hannah made her 1st giant on the pit bar without help!

Great job to Hannah for trying giants on her own without me standing up on the block over the bar!!

Workout 12/1/08

Tonight had some pretty cool highlights: Becky G. attempted a few giants on the double bars, and for a girl her height that's a great accomplishment! Jenny struggled with a couple of back tucks but finished the night with a couple of great back tucks (one of which was at my head height!). Kylie did a back tuck without anyone around her!! Ellie was doing a great job on making her kip better. Way to go girls!

11/21/08 Workout

Tonight wasn't to physically hard of a workout, it was neat to see the girls working at the things in their routines that Stacy helped us with last night. There was definitely some immediate improvement and I'm looking forward to what we'll see in the next couple of weeks.
