We've been using Fridays as "Goal Days", the rest of the week I plan each event for the kids but Fridays are theirs to work what they choose to work. Today had some pretty cool stuff. Ellie has improved her back hip circle so that she can start to pull her hips away from the bar. Maddie and Dom did some flyaways off the low bar. Kylie did her first cast to flyaways. Rachael did tsuks over the cheese mat without a spot and did a giant with virtually no spot and was close to landing a couple of full twisting layouts. Alli did some great 1/2 twisting layouts. Jessi is continually moving her handstand to back handspring up to higher beams.
Then we conditioned...
Today for the conditioning at the end we did a fun little 10 minute workout. The goal was to do as many rounds as possible in 10 minutes. One round was 5 pull ups, 10 push ups, 15 air squats. The scores are below.
